Before Justin and I were engaged, we once took Gramma to yum cha then shopping. She asked us to bring her to JC Penney's to buy some sandals for her cruise. We walk in, and she guides us through the racks of the lingerie section, holding onto Justin's arm and pointing out all the underwear while snickering. Then we pass by the costume jewelry section and she looks at him and says, "Look! How pretty! You buy for her, get married!" He laughed nervously and she said "Why you laugh? Yea, on sale $50!". He said, "How about I buy one for you?" And then she looked at me and couldn't keep a straight face and started cracking up too. "Nooo! Too cheap for me!" :)
